Just buy ugly wheels. Honestly stealing wheels don’t really seem like much of a thing anymore. Catalytic converters are the new chrome.

Oh man, I dunno. One of those cheap multi size sockets with what looks like retractable needle bearings can fill the slots for removal.

I suggest just moving to a better neighborhood. Since I got a better job and moved out of the ghetto I personally quit stealing wheels

@Lucky Lefty doesn’t wanna hear anything bad about his beloved advanced wheel locks. He started a thread on them but didn’t want to listen how any wheel lock can be defeated if the thief really wants to.

I still think you could get them off pretty easy with an undersized socket and hammering the shit out of it to grab onto one of the flats. Sure the flats are smaller but it’s not like lugs are torqued to 200 ft-lbs.

Their videos about how undefeatable they are on their website are comically half assed.

They aren’t designed to be unbeatable, the entire concept is to pass over to the most easy target.

my point is I don’t think it’d be any harder than any other wheel lock which takes seconds to defeat. But they cost $100, doesn’t seem worth it to me

I wouldn’t want a wheel lock that I couldn’t defeat. Think about loosing the key. I would expect to be inconvenienced. That’s the point

Well I hope they weren't terribly expensive. Do they give you a $2500 in case they get stolen? :)

Thankful I live where I don’t need to lock my truck not to mention my wheels. And If they did you’re so far on my property you’ve been on camera more then Morgan freeman. OP I’d suggest done park so your wheels are visible to the street and maybe a camera on the area. But besides that it’s a crapshoot. Hopefully you have good luck.

my buddy lives in a condo and caught his neighbors Mercedes AMG getting stolen on his security camera a few weeks ago.

they were in the car and gone in less than a minute. Why mess with wheel locks when you can take the whole thing?

I put five different wheel locks on each wheel and one normal lug nut. It confuses dafuk outta the thieves.

Fuck that. Think about when you have to work on it. Let them take all. That’s what insurance is for
