Do you have any more info on this? Starting to think something like this with a truck cap would be sweet.

Instead of riding we raft hard stuff together. Great opportunity for marriage communication (shouting) as you navigate through some whitewater.

I'm picking up a preowned "NEW" 2021 Trek Slash 8 tonight at the ride.

Guy noticed a crack in the weld of the bottom bracket after I think he said 75 miles and all componentry has been added to a new frame at the LBS.
He ordered a GG while awaiting the replacement frame so super savings being passed onto me..... for my brother.

Word of mouth is powerful, at Tuesday's ride I mentioned I'm looking for a bike budget of $3000 and he told me he would sell it to me for that.
I told my brother I may have to keep it for a few weeks of testing and comparing :D

Anybody ever been to Horry County Bike Run Park (The Hulk)? It’s in myrtle beach.

we have a family reunion for my wife’s side this summer in Myrtle Beach and that’s the only trails anywhere near. Looks pretty smooth and flowy and worth getting some miles in on vacation. She’s said she’d go trail run while I bike. Just wanted to know quality/safety/opinions if anyone had been there..

I'm not sure who built that but it's a short list. Glad you like the trail, I put a fair amount of shovel time into that one. I think thats one of my favorites out at Eamo, esp if you ride it all the way through to the bottom of deadwood.

I did enjoy it. Thank you for your efforts.

It was my very first run, so I didn't hit any of the drops/jumps. Getting old makes me reluctant to send much of anything sight-unseen. :)

When i pedaled, I had a tendency of “bouncing”. Given the Wreckoning is a 160mm travel bike, it felt amplified even with front and rear shocks locked.

Right now we are going to market with JUST the wheel holder. we're still developing the bike rack itself and evaluating going to market with it. if you want one of those, stay tuned

    not enough.
LOLOL. "marriage communication"...I have a ton of coworkers who are married and every time they complain about their spouse I tell them, "you guys are really selling the idea of getting married pretty well..."....That said, I wanna go rafting. Tons of rivers here in Utah to go on. But...hard to find a group to jump onboard with. And permits. :/

Dude. I kept noticing their Capra gets listed then unlisted then changed around. It's annoying! They used to have a $2300 capra base and thenall of a sudden they removed it without warning. then they added a 2800 and 3200 option for aluminum. Threw me off as I was trying to sell my old Capra...

Thats a damping/pedal style issue. Not a travel issue.

Their sizing is pretty wild. They are putting someone 5'4" on a 458 reach bike. It's strange to me that the average height of a male in the US is 5'9", yet their sizing puts that height range right at the very edges of two different frames. On one hand you can look at it as giving options, but IMO if forces a choice in fit compromise. Most companies do this. Which is strange because in most industries you design for the average size. Plus I think it's pretty odd that the average male height is only 1/3 of the way up their total size scale. Must be all tall people in CO.
