There are fuses in the main fuse box under the hood, yes, worth a check.

Really would help to have a photo of things :)

It was the high beam fuses being blown. But your instructions helped me determine which plugs were high and low. Sorry for wasting your time.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

Did the install with my auto body friend in his shop. Didn’t even ask him why just happy I didn’t have to do the install outside in NJ.

Yup. But according to the previous guy, it happens on the pro headlights too.

I only noticed it when i drove up right next to a wall. Actually happened when i was waiting for my mcflurry in the drive thru lol.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I still haven't noticed it. Maybe I'm not paying enough attention? I know I don't see it when I pull in the garage.....

Might have to wait till it gets dark and go get a Mcflurry though

It took me a while to notice that my non-pro lights have the weird side glare too. It’s quite far to the side and even when I’m looking for it, it’s not that obvious. I’d say all the OEM LEDs have them and some people just don’t notice. You really do have to be looking for it to notice.

For those who have converted from the halogens, is it THAT much better light output? Looks aren’t the reason for the swap so much as functionality. I would just as soon save my money if it’s just marginal. I have no complaints on how my truck looks

Well, good to know it's not just me. I think I was just more cognizant of the light cause I bought the alpharex knockoffs first and the reflection on them was so ridiculous I sent them back and just did did the OEM. This pic was the alpharex.

For me, it was a night and day difference in light output and quality. I have a lot of stuff done to my truck and these are by far my favorite thing I've done.

They are much better than my halogens in almost every category, but my HIDs performed better and went way farther down the road. The OEM LED are a nice middle ground between the halogen projectors and a HID retrofit.

Any chance you have any numbers comparing your HID to these? I assume most of us don’t have proper measuring devices so I’m guessing no but curious all the same.

thank you. That was my other thought is just running a retrofit. I don’t think the halogen looks bad at all. So better output with a retrofit may be my move

Sadly, I do not have any equipment that would be useful in measuring light output and distance. I'm just going on what I can visually see, which is nothing scientific by any means. The road I take home was redone to be wider to accommodate for the increase in military personnel in my area, zero street lights though.... On that same stretch of road, my ability to see the brand new road markers and simply straight down the road is vastly improved on retrofitted headlights. Also the hotspots on HIDs is like a lazer.

Edit: I might have dash cam footage, but don't know how useful it will be.

I have the LED fog lights on my 2021 TRDOff Road and prefer amber over white. Anyone know if the lens can be changed or do I need to replace the entire light pod?

You can add lamin-x film over it if you wanted to go that route for cheap. Probably can’t change the lens. I mean you could but you won’t want to.
Check out diode dynamics for another option.
