Installed Total Chaos Bed Stiffeners last night. What a difference!

Last spring I added the Yakima Outpost HD mid-height bed rack and a Tepui Ayer 2 roof top tent. I don't drive around with it all on, but after just a few hundred miles off road I noticed my tailgate was really hard to open and almost impossible to lock or unlock with the key. I looked at the rear end, but couldn't really tell if I was having "bed spread".

I noticed my latch loops had wear where they shouldn't, though; and I ordered the stiffeners from Total Chaos. They arrived in 3 days, and took less than 1 hour for me to install.

The gate opens and closes super easy now, and the key turns like the lock is brand new.

    Thanks, Total Chaos!

I built this water on demand system that cleans up my camp kitchen area (Tailgate) and makes camp set up time way faster. It attaches 6 gallons to the bedrails system for on demand water and is made with common easy to get parts. Check out my build video on Youtube. https://youtu.be/qErVak_np0s

I have a small brake squeak. And I thought it might be off road sand inside the drum. Or are you correct that there is a good seal that this doesn’t happen.
And if that’s the case why isn’t it drums all the way around?

Spend money on solid brackets. If you’re the least bit OCD the lights bouncing around will drive you nuts. I skimped out on spending big money for my bumper light bar brackets and the metal broke twice. Guess what. I went and spent a lot more money on the right parts the second time around. I learned buy once, cry once

I've got the header rail installed (should have been stock) but am too cheap to buy the caps. I'm going to see if the local library can 3D print them like I saw another member on here do.

Did you ditch your spare for the horns? It took me forever to find a home for my triple horns without losing my spare.

Haha. Years ago Hooters was running some kind of contest for their servers. The grand prize was a brand new “Toyoda”. One of the nice young ladies won and she never took notice of the incorrectly spelled word. They took her blindfolded out to the parking lot, walked her to a parking spot and revealed to her that she won a 2 foot tall Toy Yoda. I think she sued and won the cheapest brand new Toyota that they could find.

Installed an Armrest Interior MOLLE panel just because I like the way it looks. It also keeps the armrest cover Velcro straps out of the way.
