Quite a few things at this point..
Anyone happen to know the weight of materials that gets removed from the truck for this bumper to be installed? Would like to figure out what the actual gained weight would be.

Oh FYI, I'm running Ironman4x4 Foam Cell Pro suspension with a 2.5" lift front/back. I only lost 3mm of lift height in the front (lol). Drive quality feels exactly the same, even on turns. Haven't noticed any drop in MPGs either.

I'm so sorry it took so long. Family got in the way. Anyways. This is extremely unscientific, but I took our bathroom scale and loaded everything up. I didnt put any of the hardware like screws, bolts, etc. so maybe add a pound or two for those? It came in at right around 148 pounds.

That's a lot more than I was expecting. Seems like it could be off? I would think the bumper itself weighs more than what's taken off and that alone is only ~65lbs

The aluminum crash bar and the cover I doubt even weights 30lbs. I'd get rid of that scale before any female in your house gets on it, they'll be hell to pay.

I weighed my bumper going on because one source said these bumpers weighed 40lbs and another said 80lbs and I too cared about weights.
My bumper without the light bar was 76lbs.
All the material removed spec’d by ljh824 cannot weigh 148lbs.
I would say when I carried those removed parts, with one hand to put it away in a cabinet it was less that 30lbs removed.
I can weigh it with a fish scale if you’d like as well but it’s not more than 40lbs for sure.

Oh I don't care enough at this point ha. I was more curious to find out what the added weight could possibly be

Maybe that's why my wife has been hitting the gym so hard lately. Maybe I'll leave the scale as is for now. She's looking pretty good. haha.

I'm currently installing this same bumper and winch, but i was curious when the time comes to put in the light bar will I have to completely remove everything again to install it? And also once it's in bracket within the bumper how do you go about reainstalling the bumper if its removed.
