Update... Thanks to advice and support from all, my initial 30-35 emails daily has dwindled to a trickle after a week of blocking. My iPhone boiler room calls keep coming as before, 3-4 a day. My list of blocked numbers is in the thousands, but of course they have an unlimited quantity of available numbers to use. The issue for both could easily be taken care of in DC, if somehow our elected officials decided to actually represent us.

I like to run 100 av fuel in it which is low lead, last time I had it freshened I had hardened seats installed. When they first went to this garbage ethanol I added a lead additive if I had to go to a regular gas station, sure do miss the Sunoco 260! :(

I looked at the first picture and thought "hmm okay", then saw the second one and "WHOA BABY!"

News on the vaccine front -- we got our first shots! :woot: One of the small mom&pop pharmacies that was actually allowing signups called the other day and said, "wanna come down today?" Oh hell yes. They did us both at the same time. I feel like that 16 ton weight from the old Monty Python skits has been lifted off my shoulders.

Oh and @MQQSE I owe you something:

There used to be a place in my old days in Fla that I used to eat breakfast at frequently and the cook was called 'boats'. He had big anchors tattooed on his forearms.
Man, he cooked up the best breakfasts I ever had! I think it cost like $2-3 for eggs, bacon , potatoes and toast with coffee included! Great memories! :hungry:

Ken: I was out on the Toyota website looking at new TACOMAS. I was surprised you could not purchase a new one in the Limited trim with 2WD and a 6ft bed. You needed the 4WD to get the 6ft bed. Lots of bells and whistles are now in the Tacoma.

Rob: As an old phone guy I hate telemarketers because I think it is very rude of them to dial my number without my consent. I honestly feel it is an invasion of my privacy. if they knocked on my door I would not let them in. The phone is the same as a door. I did not ask them to come into my home.

    Thank you.

On the New Tacomas... seems they max out (which means the extra 4x4 drivetrain too) those top end models to maximize profit. Full of 50¢ crap that they charge us an extra $5-10K. I was thrilled to find Stitch with just the right amount of shtuff I wanted for capabilty and convenience w/o shtuff I didn't want... manual trans and blue to boot.
Good luck finding the truck that fits you.

    Good evening all,
Those are some sweet cars you guys have. Reminds me of my 1970 Chevelle SS 396 Navy Blue with 2 Racing stripes on the hood and trunk. 375 HP and it went fast. I got a lot of tickets with it. Those are some good memories of the foolish years. It got maybe 8mpg or so. Gas was 25cents per gal. Real gas also, not this corn stuff. Those were the days. Everyone have a good evening.

I love reminiscing about the 60’s and 70’s and hot cars. My baby was a 67 Chevy Nova SS, midnight blue with black tuck n roll upholstery. I built the engine up myself. Had a 327 vet engine with 2 4’s, big isky cam, bored, stroked basically blueprinted with headers. Muncie 4 speed, hurst shift linkage and much more. Over 500 hp per dynamometer. And everyone with a hot car had a big Sun tachometer mounted up on the dash. It was so fast and powerful it almost scares me thinking about it today. Yes and back in the day I worked in a Chevron gas station and I remember about 27 cents a gallon gas and as an employee I got 2 cents a gallon discount. American Graffiti is one of my favorite movies because it brings back memories of cruising the “strip” in hot muscle cars. Horsepower was king.

Good morning!! You have been the early riser of late! :D I sleep in until at least 3:45.

Gorgeous day here yesterday. Took the opportunity to drain, clean and then refill the spa. We also trimmed back all our blueberry bushes to get them ready for the coming season. Then, we went to dinner at Lackawanna College's student-run restaurant. Another awesome meal.

I've been planning on buying a trailer to haul the mowers, ATV, UTV and finally was able to track one down yesterday. I wanted to get a steel side instead of an open rail to make it easier to grab a load of mulch or dirt. Will be picking up a 6X12 the UTV like this one this morning from a dealership about 1.5 hours from home - the only one I could find in eastern PA and it just arrived at the dealership yesterday. The UTV is right at 10' long without the plow so I went with the 12" length for some wiggle room.

    Good Morning

Productive day out on the mountain yesterday. Snowy windy morning provided opportunity to catch up on some "housekeeping" around the property. System passed through by mid-afternoon, so in the evening we felled 5 more dead spruce along the trail. Tired by the time we got back, ate and down by 9PM. Slept my normal 4-5 hrs and wide awake about 1:30AM; might get in a nap towards daybreak, see what my mid-shift trained mind allows. :notsure:
On the bright side the weather promises to be good today, so after breakfast we'll be hauling the downed trees back to the sawmill site.
Life is basic and fulfilling on the mountain. Replenishes my soul being out here. :)

Glad you located and procured your trailer Colonel .

    Be well stay safe.

    Respect :oldglory:

    Good Morning Folks.

Like Rob sad Tom, all manufactures in todays market try to maximize their profits by only selling "packages". If you want this item you have to buy this package that includes several items you don't care about. I went with the TRD OR because of the standard equipmment it came with and then I added the rear cross traffic sensors for backing up in parking lots (I have almost gotten ht by people thinking the speed limit down the aisle is 55) and it included blind spot monitor which I didn't want but will get. Makes it hard to buy what you want. Like Rob said, he was lucky finding Stitch with the equipment he wanted . Good luck in your searching.

If we ever get a decent internet connection, (I'm workin' on it) we're going to use wifi and our iphones for everything.. one number for each of us, goes everywhere with us, only get calls from peeps in our contacts list, and 911 that we can actually depend on, wherever we are.

When I was stationedin Johnsville PA in the late 60's, we used to go cruising in Hatboro Pa. McDonalds was here everyone hung out and tthe cops didn't bother us. Tat all came to an end years later when the younger ones came through peeling out on the main strip, and just being a pain in the butt. Neighbors clled the cops and that was the end of cruising. Those were the days.
