For what's it's worth, the past 3 Pioneer products I have had(head unit, TV, and receiver) were all awful, easily some of the worst products I've used.

I almost wonder if your canbus module is bad.

Have you gone into the the setup mode, factory setting and ensured the Canbus adapter is programmed to the correct model?

Ok for the MCU update use the following link extract your selected file (should be a update.zip file) to a fat32 formatted usb drive plug into your unit and it should prompt you to update.

    https://disk.yandex.com/d/umCvHqCDzHccr

Now for the android 10 update go to YouTube
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgRF4WSs2S0
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPcDdmga_
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgmSE8d7wM4

The videos show three methods of updating to Android 10 I went through all thee methods myself and the only one that worked for me was to purchase the mod installer app. If you have the time and patients try the other two methods but if you want the simplest way get the app.(I am not affiliated with the app owner in any way) But after I tried the other two ways and got aggravated I bought the app and it was a breeze.

I am probably going to go back and look through the thread(or however much I can), but wireless carplay was always something I wanted. I am def going to look into this and the price is not too bad, compared to the other options that are out there. It seems to work pretty well from what I saw intially.

There's a setting for preamp volume in the factory settings. Give that a shot.

Yup. It's in there somewhere. I would look, but I don't have this anymore.

Yes. Select the Canbus Tab. Ensure you are set to the Toyota Camry setting with all additional canbus settings as default.

You can reuse your toyota brackets, however you will have to adjust them with a Dremel in order to get two screw in each bracket.

Just ordered from Amazon with CarPlay dongle. I’ll read through this whole thread but any tips/ tricks/ anything I should know before unboxing? I was going to go with the cartihome version but they were sold out.

Can the vehicle setting still be controlled through these? For example auto door lock options, external chime volume, auto AC on?
