I guess so. They at least use it to scam other people from your number so it looks local. Pretty sure this latest scammer is from Vietnam but it's a Utah area code.

no lol. That would drive me crazy though. Its more of a pop, but its not consistent. Only happens like once per drive, usually when I start driving. Im going to do the needle -> ECGS this weekend for the vibes/humming and see if that fixes it. If not, at least its done.

I sell and buy on KSL all the time. its a great site, just be firm about cash or venmo only. Anything else is usually bs.

ECGS will be great to have anyway. Toyota just needs to swallow their pride and make them without the needle bearing in the first place.

I’m surprised how common it is lately for people to send the Venmo first and then pick it up later. That’s happened on a bunch of $10-100 items I’ve sold in the past few months.

Oh hell no. Face to face, item in hand before you ever get my $. MAYBE a nominal deposit if its something really high end or hot commodity, but I cant say I've done that personally.

I have near 0 trust in 99 percent of people I interact with in any situation.

Another common one these days is to try to get you to put your information into a fake car fax type website.

Army green is my second favorite color. Have you thought about picking one up?

    Not much stock left.
Have you put the truck in 4wd to see if the noise goes away? If it does, then the needle bearing. If not, something else.

At least I believe that was the test for the needle bearing.

I might have bit on this one. I think the site was legit, but I’m guessing the perp must get a commission. Who knows, maybe sometime down the road it will come back and haunt me.

Not super seriously, but I do have a mild itch to change things up. Just nothing that really excites me as something I'd dump the taco for.

GX460 is at the top of the list, but a thirsty V8 that takes premium as gas prices are going up? No thanks
3G taco - not different enough to justify a swap
FJ - tempting, then use the spare cash to buy a fun commuter car
Army Green 4Runner - The most probable, but what they want for a 4runner these days is silly, plus no tent if I want to park in the garage still.

Anyone in the market for 35’s? I have some RRW RR4-V’s in 17x9 with 35x12.5 Yokohama geolandar MT’s that I’ll be selling at some point in the future.

Also considering selling the camper if anyone is interested.

Your 4Runner is a sweet piece. I def don't have any need for 35s though.

Thirsty V8s that take premium are great! I've actually been toying with selling my Taco and Drifter and building out the G as the primary adventure vehicle. We'd switch to a trailer camper since we're having another kid soon. On that note...

More details please?! What camper is it?
