Are you just copying the warm maps to all the others save for the few mentioned before?

What values have you been changing if any?

So you guys are just copying the stock warm base torque map into the others and seeing shift behavior change noticeably? I have not looked at them yet, just assumed they were all very similar or identical already.

Just got home and looked at them. I noticed that "Optimal transmission torque for shifting 13" has different vehicle speed and throttle angle values than the others.

Sorry. I'm on old version still and that was a reference to the old naming.

Some of us that haven’t updated to the vin locked vF have the maps named differently than those running the latest version.

gotcha. So I have some hesitation about copy/paste table values into a table with different axis values. Any thoughts on that?

or.... is the strategy to just copy the entire table, axis values and all?

Edit: it appears that while it will allow editing of the axis values on the table, it will not save changes when they are edited. Unless there is more to it

Could you share a screen shot of the table During Cold engine and 4WD?
I did leave these unchanged when I tried to mod this group of tables.

If you go look through the stock file at these maps, each table has different values (save for a few of them I don't remember off the top of my head).

I'm not 100% sold on copying over the values to tables and setting them the same. I'll continue playing with the numbers and see what comes of it. So far all I've gotten the truck to do with a value paste is hard shift.

I didn't compare each cell but these looked to be the same as stock when I compared them. Ill try using the compare tool and see if it highlights anything.

Edit: There are some very small differences (<1%) in a small number of the cells near the 30-40 throttle angle at the 60-100 vehicle speed area on the warm map. on the warm 2 map there is even less difference in fewer cells.

Good catch that map 13 has different axis values. I did not catch this on my first time through, and did just paste the base warm engine values into this map.

I noticed that this map has the same axis values for the 4WD map. I also noticed some weird behavior when I put it in 4LO for a bit last night. I wonder if this map controls 4LO? I'm going to do some more driving in 4LO, then set this map back to the original values and see what happens.

The strategy was just to copy/paste the values, because I did not notice that map 13 had different axis values. I said in another post that I now suspect map 13 might be for 4LO. I would leave map 13 unchanged for now. I'm gonna do some 4LO investigation and I'll report back.
