I grew up in Torrington so I've been going to Lime Rock since the early '70s and RT 7 was the way there. When we went there in whatever clunker was the current whip, I'd see the sports cars heading up and dream of doing that myself. An MGB, then a few Preludes, then a Miata, then a Boxster S, and now my 911. Lots of good memories from RT 7.

The roads near LRP have slow speed limits but they’re a blast in a low-powered car. I used to be a volunteer up there for race weekends so Saturday/Sunday morning rips up from Stamford were always fun.

Yea, blew up but they already have sn11 on the pad. Doing cryo/pressurization tests and static fire tests (anticipated this week) with hopes to launch next week. Astounding how quick they produce and test these prototypes.

and the firework shows that come with them are just as awesome

I'm not going to get my license this year...
I'm planning on throwing the rod in the truck and fishing owners properties that let me in all the different states I'm in.
A few have already told me go for it, anytime I'm there.

Made it through the worst of the week. Tomorrow is Friday and the weathers been great!

Frame passed inspection, dealer ordered frame coating, but no word on when that will happen.

I also wanted to have the tranny fluid drained and filled. Told them when I made the appt that I didnt want the tranny flushed, and they said ok. Reminded them when I dropped it off this morning and the service rep said yep, we wrote that down when you called. Well, 2 hours later when they are finally ready to do everything, they call me and tell me it has to be flushed, they cannot do the service without it. Told them not to touch the tranny; just do the frame inspection and Ill bring it elsewhere for the transmission service.

Called another dealer close by, but one I never dealt with before. Explain the situation, and confirm my make/model/vin, and asked what my options are. He called back after speaking with the head tech and said they can do the drain and fill but recommend the flush. I said if your willing to do the drain and fill, book it for the earliest you have. So I will be getting that taken care of tomorrow. Hope all goes to plan.
