Wow. Those Yaesu handhelds are top-shelf products.

 

The more I think about it, the more it seems like if there's more than two steps in retrieving a tool, i don't want it. Step 1 - open bag. Step 2 - grab tool. If I have to grab a handful out of a bag and sort out what I want, thats no good. That probably why the tool rolls are appealing.

That is kind of a tough ideal though, it takes up a lot of space if everything is in a roll, especially with small tools like dental picks.

so i dunno. Offroad wheels on the big toolbox might be the best thing.

 

The Mazda had this weird spring hose clamp with a retention pin, unbeknownst to me. I released all the stored kinetic energy of the spring right into my left pointer finger.

Hurt like a bitch.

Over the past couple of weeks, I noticed 100 series prices are starting to trend back toward earth.

Let gas prices jump $1 per gallon and supply for 13 MPG vehicles will quickly exceed demand.

I remember during the previous "gas crisis" in the 2000's everyone and the mother were trying to get rid of their V8s for dirt cheap. The price of geo metros in my rural town were equivalent to CA tacoma prices

 

Prius population downright exploded like horny rabbits during that year or two

I bet. I was bumfuck PA at the time and prius' were pretty rare, everyone wanted anything with under 100hp lol... the few the cylinders the better
