Nice I'll have to look into them when I go to get a table.

They’ve got all sorts of sizes to choose from. Assembly was tedious but needed to ensure it came out flat. Now that it’s together I really wish I had a bigger garage for a bigger one lol. But it will have to do for now

I can totally understand, I want a shop in the worst way, but I'll have to get a new house to go with it because my lot is tiny.

Yeah that’s tough. We’ve got 2.5 acres so we have plenty of room. Parents currently own our place but my wife and I plan to buy it off them hopefully next year. When that happens we are going to try to get funds for a 40x75 shop added into the loan at the same time.

The new beef has arrived and will slowly start getting cleaned up and fitted under the taco.

Actually I think they are. Let me see if I can go back on the order and see the details.

Edit: nope looks like they were 4.10. Sorry bud

Yeah, why you want 4.30’s anyways? What size tires you running?

Are you sure? I thought all 5.7 Tundras (the ones with the 10.5 axle) had a 4.30 final drive. My dad’s does.

The listing said 4.10. Quick searching shows if the truck had the tow package it had 4.30, otherwise it came with 4.10. But don’t know how accurate that is.

@Adventure4x4 ask me again over the weekend and I’ll pull the diff back out of the housing and actually count the teeth

OEM gears also have the ratio scribed into the side of the crown/ring gear. In case you suck at math haha.

besides, who gets the 5.7L WITHOUT tow package?!?

Graduated with a BSME degree in December. I hope I didn’t forget math that quickly haha. But good to know.

I have 4.30s in now. Just figured I'd hold onto a spare set just in case. 34s, manual trans

You are right about the gear ratios and tow package. If the listing said 4.10, it's most likely correct.

@ZUK gearinstalls.com probably has a bunch of oem take offs to easily source.

He any good? Jk was talking to him today getting pricing. Should be sending him my deposit next week so he can order the gears and locker and send the gears out for REM polishing.

Deposit paid for gears and locker. Also started to clean up the rust from the housing. Hopefully finish cleaning up the housing, chop off old mounts and paint it tomorrow but we will see
