Newbie here - what would be fair market aka Craigslist value of brand new off the truck Trail package bed storage units?

    Cant find them anywhere online.

    Thanks!

Thanks I’m getting my 2021 Monday. So there are kind of two debates here . First is whether people like the storage or not. Second is if you remove them do you keep them on a shelf or do you sell them? I am in the remove them and sell them camp.

Not much for them I would just throw them to the side or sell them for 300 bucks .they are not very popular. Useless IMO .

You’d be lucky to get $20 for them.

Ive seen this several times now. The trail package is $1800, and all it adds are the boxes and a tan accent stitch on your seats. So if you havent bought it yet, why buy it only to take a ~$1300-$1500 bath? :notsure:

See if the dealer can find a similarly optioned SR5 instead. That's your cheapest route.

Well I’m absolutely on fire for the green truck and right now at this juncture they only are available in the trail package. My lack of patience will cost me. Always does.

Agreed. Two years ago I was in need of a new daily driver. When I saw the first pictures of the 2020 AG Pro, I fell in love. Had to wait a whole year to get mine built, but well worth the wait and $$$. Mine was the first one in the county, and one of only a few in Middle Tennessee. Total strangers will wave, thumbs up, or complement the color. Especially popular with the first responders and military crowd.

I would just put them aside if you have the space, rather than selling them for peanuts. Everybody (myself included) has a strong dislike for the boxes at this point, but you have to know that sooner or later someone is going to come up with a neat use for them and suddenly there will be a run on them as people scramble to find take-offs or dig up the part # to buy a new set.

Agreed, those stupid boxes are as useless as an ashtray on a motorcycle.

You can always buy a Sport or Off Road to get green, price difference from a SR5 is around $1900 which is probably about the same difference as the trail package.

Personally I would set them aside and never sell them. They are part of the identity of your Trail Edition and would contribute to resale value, as they are what makes a Trail Edition, a Trail Edition.
