He's been bad but at this point, what is the message? Edmonton had 6 goals before Ottawa had 6 shots lol. When they would play Hogberg he was getting hammered every night also. Daccord is currently the backup and while his stats are decent in his few appearances, maybe they just didn't want him getting killed.

 

I saw the highlights this morning. He has been off for a few years now.

 

Getting to the point now where faking his own death may be the best financial decision for him.

 

The whole Kane situation is crazy. I know, plenty of athletes have done the same thing, but usually in hockey this stuff doesn't happen or the team tries to set things straight before it's a gong show.

 

Binnington 6yrs/36m. I like it. I know he has had a few dips but overall hes the first guy to sieze the starting role on that team after trying many other known names. He won them a Cup and that AAV is right around guys who I consider his peers (Helle, Gibson.)

 

God damn Keefe. I know Andersen is the starter but he isn't making timely saves. I know, one period to go, but we're going to lose this one based on what I've seen. If you play the same goalie and he has the same sub 0.900 game, you're going to get the same results against a Jets team with unreal goaltending.

 

I hate it. Binnington is a Southern Ontario kid. I was hoping he wouldn't figure something out with the Blues and come home for cheap. Hope being the operative word, because that was never going to happen lol.

 

Lol ya that would be something.

Either way, good for him. I just like him for some reason. I like his story, like his playstyle and he has some fire, which is cool.

 

The Pens with the win against a struggling Buffalo team. That's too bad for the fans of the Sabres. I know Buffalo is a real hockey town.

 

Hellebuyck is unreal against TO these last two games. He's faced over 35 shots from inside the hashmarks within the slot and only allowed 4 goals on those 40 shots. We are talking about an area most goalies allow goals in 1 in 4 or 5 chances.

 

I was sure we were going down after those first 40 minutes. I still need to see more out of Andersen though. He just isn't making the saves he needs to make.

That Matthew, Marner, and Rielly OT line is tough to play against.

He is pretty incredible. For sure has become 1 of the top in the league. Winnepeg's team defense is sometimes suspect though.

That was insane. Thats a video game type goal. Nice celly after too.
