I've heard so many different opinions about spacers. I have a brand new 2021 Tacoma and people have told me to either stay away from spacers or that it's not all that bad. I just purchased new tires 265/75/r16 and I wanted a 2" lift on front and 1" on back.
Can anyone give me their opinion and/or recommend a specific brand if I were to use spacers.?

My buddy has a spacer lift. He strictly did it for the looks only. If that's what you are going for, you'd be fine. Are all spacer lifts the same? I would think so. Just buy a reputable brand.

You could ease your mind and get eibach kit or Bilstein 5100’s would be fine for daily driver weekend warrior fun IMO. Went down that route at first and replaced spacers immediately after learning about lifts.
    Good Luck OP

Floor mats count? It’s a work in progress.....
I just installed a 2”/1” spacer lift a few weekends ago. I was mostly going for looks. The extent of my off-roading will be camping and MTB trails so I didn’t feel I needed to go full suspension lift. That being said, I will eventually go with a Bilstein or Eibach kit.

I went with the Supreme Suspensions kit. It included the diff drop, sway bar relo bracket and shims for the rear blocks.

I'm considering doing do the same on my 2021 OR. I have been researching and see the needle bearing issue popup a lot. Is this still the case on 2021 models? Would this need to be addressed also with a 2in spacer level?

Spacer up front will most likely get you nose high. Needle bearing issue happens for some and some not. Every truck is different. I have bearing on hand if and when it goes.
    Good luck

Going back and forth between 1.5" and 2" spacer in the front and 1" block in the rear. I just want touch more height. I'll go ahead and get the esgs bushing then when I order everything. I rather take care of it up front rather than dealing with it later. I have a Tundra before this with 3/2 level. Apparently just a Tacoma issue.

I have a Sport that I lifted for looks and due to my height. (6’8”) I did care for the floating after hitting road bumps so I went with the Eibach kit. It made the ride better for me by a lot. I heard the spacer/block lift does not change the ride quality. Since I wanted the change I forked over the money for the suspension lift and I’ve been happy. If I liked the ride I had I probably would have did a spacer/block lift. I’ve also heard the spacer/block lift is harder on your truck though not sure how factual this is.

I'm thinking of getting the Eibach kit as well. Which snap ring did you set it at? According to Eibach, they said the top 2 snap rings will raise it 2.5"+ but may cause degradation of ride quality. I do plan on getting some armor in the later future and trying to think if I should set the suspension now to accommodate that or change it accordingly after the armor is installed. Any photos? Thanks!
