I remember looking for those 256k bitrate music files or better yet, FLAC and other lossless audio files.

Same. It was always that trade off - can i leave the dialup on long enough to get the good quality? Or should I settle for the 96k and have it by the time I have to go to bed?

Everything I rip now is flac though.

I'm pretty sure I have an MP3 file somewhere with a kazaa thumbnail.

Comparing it with a picture I from a third gen so it could be a lot different but I am starting to think that somehow the contents of the needle bearing got chewed up by something and are currently down at the bottom of the diff because my picture looks very similar to this one if the inside contents of the needle bearing are stripped out and the shell is left.

Fingers crossed I am wrong here but only one way to find out so I’ll be draining the diff through a paper towel tomorrow morning

I think you might have a bad time... zoomed in shot of you diff shows what looks like the chewed up edge of a needle bearing race. I think you are correct in your assumption all the bits and pieces are in the bottom of your diff:(

I wanna know what decides the tailpipe exit style

My 98 has it at a right angle behind the mudflap much like the tacomas

My 01 has it like that where it's almost at a 45° from the muffler

    My buddies 96 right angle

    My buddies 97 right angle

Limiteds get a different exhaust maybe?

Speaking of rabbits, I remember the 2nd gas crisis the sent the Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel prices up to $6,000 over list price. For people who didn't want to wait, people were paying $12,000 or more. It was just insanity. VW had come out with a TV commercial about a couple who drove their Diesel Rabbit from Washington DC to NYC and back on a tank of fuel. It was a great ad. I can't find that Ad, but here's a similar one. People were walking around saying the Rabbit was like a little Mercedes Diesel and that helped drive the price up. I knew people who would buy one and then resold it to an anxious buyer for usually a $5,000 profit. Then soon after the craze was over, the price fell through the floor.

Those older VW diesels were amazing! I've known a couple people that have taken those and converted them to run on waste fast food fry oil

I remember the first time I downloaded over 56kbps on Napster. Took like 5 minutes per song.
