we had Napster for a little bit, but I think most of my music came from other kids really, we shared a lot.

We had a 56k modem, but the quality of our phone lines was limiting us to 28.8k. Getting a 1.2 kBps download was excitement.

I too got most of my music from my friends. One of them had a dedicated phoneline, and ran a server called Hotline on his G4 Mac. Warez central (if you had a mac, which I didn't )

We got real good at setting up a download list for limewire at home and then executing it on Macs at school (T1 internet at the time i was in elementary), this had the bonus of letting us easily remove malware (since macs show hidden windows files and can't execute any scripts or exes)

Nice. We had 386s in elementary with no network, and like a first gen pentium maybe in high school. Our shenanigans were limited to netsend bombs in the computer programming lab, they did a pretty good job of locking them down.

That was my first exposure to C, and building games with the Borland Graphics Interface. What fun!

@Speedytech7 this will probably make you cringe but I resubmitted my essay with the only revisions being the grammar adjustments you suggested... I didn't add any new content..

    I got a 96 :anonymous:

    I guess there's a reason it's a technical college:laughing:

    Thanks:)

For that silly college success class our final project was a PowerPoint visual presentation on our career path goals. Pictures were required and personal pictures were recommended. Lol I was the only one who didn't pull a bunch of random clip art images off the internet

Mostly because I was too lazy to create a work cited page for other people's images:rofl::rofl:

There's enough people in life waiting for those opportunities to take digs and tear you down. Don't give them a heads start by tearing yourself down first

Lolol I love that line so much

What's really funny is if I do decide to move back east and settle that VA property before I'm retired then I'll be over qualified.. cause you said in your experience no one is looking for that extra schoolwork on the east coast
