I think it's the Chrome. Quicksand and Chrome just don't work for me, and the Tundras have even more than the Tacoma. Quicksand and black just works so well.

Love the color, but hate how the paint erodes off of the tailgate

Where did you buy that grill with the QS lettering? Been looking to upgrade the stock grill.

Is there any reason I need to take off the entire grille to paint the chrome bezel around it?
I am fairly good at taping off and figured I could plasti derp it pretty cleanly.

just curious if anyone has done this without removing the entire grille.

Not sure which grille you have but if its the same as mine, taking it apart is like a 15min process. Its not very hard at all.

    SR5 version.

Just figured I could tape off around the edges and spray it.

Loving the pics in this thread. This is my absolute favorite color on a 3rd Gen. Don't get me wrong, I love my BBP, but I was hoping to find one locally in Quicksand. I might trade up to a slightly newer model in a couple years if I find one in QS around the same price range.

Got the A Pillar lights hooked up yesterday with the help of @Man of Steel TRD

Need to tweak the mounting to get the passengers side to hold still, might have put the washers in the wrong place.

I'm stoked with the way it all turned out. That wireless controller for the lights is pretty bad ass

I'm probably gonna have to write up a small review on it, shame we didn't document the install, but it was pretty easy anyways.

We just went. Haha. It would have been nice for others to have something to follow but the setup is pretty cut and dry.
