    I'm ready.
I feel like I've done sufficient prep to insure we get almost no snow.

I might be game. I'm wrapping up a gear job tonight. Don't think the owner has plans on picking it up until after the storm.

Ya, that sucks. We did our walkthrough the afternoon before closing and the house was still completely full of shit. So I made a big deal about it and some how the next day 80% of it was gone. It was kind of amazing how much shit they pulled out of the house overnight.

Chatting with a buddy that runs a GX470 about doing Switzerland on Sunday depending on how this snow goes. In for Idaho Springs if that doesn't work out. Gotta try out these new chains.

I recently got done sizing up a set of OTR Truck chains. I've never run the multiple cam style and was told you didn't need tensioners with them, we'll see. Have them if I need them.

I had to cut quite a few links off these before they would fit, but I've got 2 cross chains and a bunch of links as spares now. These are my first cam-lock chains, and the place I got mine said the same thing about tensioners, shouldn't need them. I got some anyway, $15 seemed like cheap insurance.

You should start cutting up the Tacoma now. I'll buy your coilovers (assuming you have some).

I don't really care about weed one way or another. I think it can be a gateway drug, but then again so can nicotine or alcohol, so it isn't a substance issue so much as a personal issue; though the legalization makes it available on a local level to my sons, which can have later impacts on employment. Likewise, it forces one to ask the questions about the consequences of legalizing weed. Will this have a social effect (will there be any turf wars? Will there be higher or lower taxation? Will there be positive or negative social implications which derive from tourism?). Further, my wife and I currently maintain clearances, and while legal in CO, it is still federally illegal as a controlled substance; that does raise some potential (though distant) concerns.

With all that said, I don't really have a desire to smoke weed or be stoned; it just isn't my thing. I don't really care if folks want to, so it'd be incorrect to paint me in the corner of some teetotaler where this is concerned. In fact, I'm all about making it federally legal; it's something that's too difficult to control and probably doesn't need to be controlled anyway (IMO it is less damaging than alcohol). Further, the WOD was a moronic endeavor that lined a lot of politician's pockets and little else; not a fan, would not recommend 0/10.

yeah... I'm going to have to give that a good look. I suspect even a faulty carrier would do that as well.

I hope you realize it would be available locally to your sons whether it was legal or not. At least they dont have to go underground to get it.

EDIT: AND they dont have to worry about having legal consequences for doing things most kids do anyway.
