Have Bilstein 5100s all around, and the G015s.......envious of the fatter tires, but the setup is great for Highway driving, good handling, quiet, good on gas.....

This has been on my to do list since last fall when I installed my Martin roof rack. Now that the weather rises getting nicer maybe it's time to get to it.

I've got an 09 with 143k on her. I replaced the serp belt at 110k. I asked the same question about the alternator and most said to replace it when it quits. No issues with it or the pulleys

Just so there is no misunderstanding, the BG EPR is used just before draining the oil for a change. You put it in an already warmed engine and let it idle for about 20 minutes to thoroughly clean the ring lands, etc, then drain with the oil. DO NOT put EPR in as an additive. BG does make an oil additive you put in with the new oil and it's called MOA. Info on these products is available on the BG Products website. One drawback to their engine oil related warranty plan is that you have to use the MOA and the oil change has to be done by a shop so goodbye to $6/qt Mobil 1 at Costco or Walmart and hello $10/qt oil at the oil change place. You can't put the MOA in yourself and keep a receipt, BG won't accept that.

Is it a great product?, will it help my truck last longer?......then it’s worth the
    Money.....
Did the BG fuel injector clean program at a shop........game changer for the good, noticeable difference in engine performance......obviously my fuel injectors were dirty.

:annoyed::annoyed: Just one thing after another this week! After doing my steering boots over the weekend I noticed that my lower ball joints were fully shot after ignoring them for a year. Replaced them last night and found my passenger side front cam bolt is basically welded in place and I couldn't get it to loosen. SO after I got it aligned on Wednesday and now doing lower ball joints I have to cut out my cam bolt and install a new one tonight that I have to drive 30 miles to another dealer to pick up, get it aligned and all before I leave for a 3 week 4k mile trip that we are suppose to leave tomorrow. I hate waiting till last second to do things but I am do damn good at it!:bananadead:

Having looked at the Smittybilt Gen 2s I would definitely say they're very well made for the price! Compared to the gen 1s they're a completely different tent. Nice score!

I bought a brand new Cutlass that had a power steering pump spring a seal leak at 15K. Covered under warranty, but the belt wasn't, and the dealership told me they needed to replace the belt because "it has cracks" in it.

I told them no. I had them put the old belt on... mainly because I've seen too many mechanics advise new belts because of cracks but have not seen much evidence of those cracked belts being a problem. Belts crack after a minimal number of miles.

I drove that car for another 80K miles and replaced the belt and the brake pads for the first time at 95K, just to sell the car in good shape.

I really don't know how long a belt will last. I've heard they are designed to last 8 years regardless of miles, but I've seen lots of 20 year old belts.

Cracks don't bother me unless there's more than ten in a 2" stretch - then I just swap to another OEM belt and keep the old one as a trail spare.

I also have a 2003 TRD that I drive for work that has almost 270K, that's why the 2015 only has 40K.
What year is your truck ?
