    Exactly

If I were still single I would apply to that in a heartbeat

Living in the desert would suck but that job sounds awesome.

Not like I have room to talk. I finally create a new steam account and I use it for cheesy 8bit single player games:laughing:

Maybe I should then. Hell at this point only the cab of my truck would be original.

You should talk to @Empty_Lord, he bought a brand new frame for his truck because he’s mentally insane.

James might be right, there may be a spring holding retention under that mech.

I have. Quite the endeavor but I too see a frame swap in my future. Which would still be cheaper than a “new” truck.

Honestly, the worst part of all this, are the bolts shearing.

Only bolts I've sheared off were exhaust bolts.

Shearing off an LBJ bolt during install isn't very fun, do not recommend

Zane swore up and down I’d break the exhaust studs in my 300zx. Never broke a single one.

No idea, it was a brand new bolt too. I have a theory it was because I didn't attach the dust boot that the 01 - 04s have, which effectively shortens 2 of the bolts where the rings are that hold the boot on. So without that boot, that bolt was too long and snapped when torquing down. Or it was just a bad bolt.

I got another bolt, added the dust boot on and torqued and all was well. Getting the broken half of the first one out of the spindle wasn't fun though

I saw one for sale in the marketplace. If he still has it this summer, I’ll make the cross country trip. I was planning a trip to the west coast anyway.
