I'm 100% down with this. I love CO and hope my little efforts might make it a better, freer place to live.

It was in TX as well, but being illegal is a discouraging factor.

To some it adds intrigue and makes them do it when they might not have anyway.

Seriously, every time CDOT closes the local highways for snow I always go out and snow bash on them and rescue the rescuers.

Sure. My sons aren't into it, however being legal does offer a natural social situation to partake to 'try' or become part of a group that might. And again, this could happen illegally, certainly, but I think you're being dishonest if you would think they'd happen in the same frequency or so readily and openly as they do here. And while I don't really care one way or another myself, if they wanted to get into a job that required a clearance in the near future, they'd be SOL.

But again, they were concerns, and clearly not large enough to warrant not coming here. I just don't really care one way or another but the original context was whether or not Texans would be eager to get here for the legal weed. I'd say that would be the case for some Texans but the majority I'd guess would see it as a negative. I don't speak for either group. That's up to Texans, and it largely depends on what part of TX they come from and what their occupation is.

A decent human being would clean the house like you did, however not everyone selling their house meets that standard.

We made sure to include in the contract that the house had to be clear of old paint/chemicals/cleaning products or we would get a credit at closing for the cost of propper disposal.

At the end of the day, even if it's legal in Colorado most employers don't allow it. And that's not going to change anytime soon. Their insurance rates would skyrocket. Some people may be able to function at 100% but that's a risk employers are not willing to take. And fact that your body retains THC longer makes it impossible to prove that you partake only on you off days.

By "Rescue" do you mean pile more snow on them? :D

Its like skiing with friends and one falls, you just have to spray them with snow!

I grew up in Colorado, and was in my later teenage years when it was legalized. I can tell you that the access to weed as a teen did not change much after the legalization. A major factor is that you have to be 21 to legally purchase it. So it was the same kids continuing to go to their weed dealer, or asking an older sibling to go buy for them. I was offered weed at a younger age than alcohol. Until my college days, I would actually say it was easier to buy weed than alcohol. I personally never did it when I was young, but that doesn't change the fact that even before it was legalized it was easily accessible, probably from the age of 13 and on

As a teenager weed was always easier to get than alcohol.

My dad also thought I didn’t smoke it.
