I drove a delivery truck for the boy scouts in summers in college. I'll never have a job I enjoyed as much as that. Pay sucked, and I was always dirty, but it was pretty hard to beat.

 

I have ITIL and Scrum certifications. Nothing technical in a very long time. But I reinvent myself every 7 years.

I used to brew my own moonshine in a homemade still, but that was in farm country where I raced riding lawnmowers and made high proof alcohol as a fuel for the mowers

What kinda things were they transporting that needed a dedicated delivery driver?

 

My dad brewed some beer for awhile after he and my mom split, I remember opening the closet in the hallway once at his house and there was a bunch of beer making equipment that looked like a small meth lab setup. It came out alright but wasn't very good. That phase of his didn't last long lol.

I could see myself getting into metal fabrication at some point when I'm too jaded to deal with computers

I even got to load 2 pallets of clay pigeons onto a 3/4 ton chevy and carry them up a 4x4 road once. Only broke a couple.
