Hey bad news for Canada from my dealer today

I asked if they can order with a 2019 VIN they asked and received this response

Unfortunately at this time the Lift Kit is not compatible with MY19. We are investigating MY18 & MY19 but have not completed the investigation if it is fully compatible yet. As of right now this kit is only compatible for certain models on the 2020 and 2021’s.

    Thank you
    Toyota Canada

Anyone have Toyota put this on a 2019 or older yet?

Thanks! Dealer had a vendor come in the same day as the lift install to do the tint. It's 35% and matches the back windows about as well as it could. Here is the product:

    https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/company...-Obsidian-Series/?N=5002385+3290415406&rt=rud

If you're asking about cost of the lift w/install, I believe it was ~$2,350. I bought multiple things that day and unfortunately cannot find the itemized receipt. Dropped the truck off at 7:30am and they finished around 6:30pm.

Thank you! I have always done 20% on my vehicles in the past. Since I just needed two windows to complete the job, however, I was OK matching them with the 35%. It does feel nice to be legal for once.

@Eric2009Taco It does look like it too. That is a lot of weight in the back. I need to get them off soon. LOL

I wonder why this truck that was posted earlier on in this thread #114 sits higher in the front than yours? They both have the same lift. Yall's rear looks identical though

My dealer anticipated this and added a bushing to the package. It added a hundred bucks to the cost. Probably cheaper if you DIY.

Oops Sorry, I got it backwards. The rears are different. The fronts are the same.

I just got a call from the dealership and they are claiming that the new tires were the cause. They told me two of the brand new tires were out of specification and that they would replace them. I asked them how this explains the 4wd "fix" and they explained it away with how the car lines up when in 4wd bla bla bla. I am skeptical but am also keeping my fingers crosse.

Dropped it off at the dealer this morning - 7:30 A.M....Was ready for pick up at 3:30 P.M...I've had the wheels new in box for a couple of months, wrapped them with DuraTracs and had them mounted as well...The dealer was fantastic to work with (recco'd by TW member N3FOLMike)...I contacted a number of dealers without much success prior to finding this one...If your in MD/DC/VA, and looking to have a dealer install this lift, msg me and I'll happily provide you a POC...

Torn between these wheels in this color or matte black. Your truck makes an excellent case against matte black. Well done! What size tire is that?

The color struggle is real! In all seriousness, I was considering the matte black for some time...I saw the gun metal TRD's on a 4Runner and my decision was made...I think they complement Cement quite well...Tires are 265/70/17...
