    Cracks, no cracks....wtf
The cost of a new belt is @$40...........let that sink in.......a family of 4 at McDonald’s for lunch.....
And then piece of mind for 100K
Less than hour, and you see how your pulleys are too.

Yup, I'm a v6. I'd likely take it. My belt hasn't started making any noise yet but what the hell. Replacing my LCAs soon hopefully

I have been adding a can of Seafoam to the gas tank every three to four months as well as using 93 octane whenever it is cheap (which has been always of late). Taco is much more responsive and gets better gas mileage.6DD345E0-9E8F-40AD-A5CC-5704C5F02358.jpg

    I have a 2010, 2nd gen
I originally ordered CoverKing neoprene thru Costco for the discount.......and because you can order for 2nd gen vs 3rd gen, more choices in color...good fit, BUT wasn’t super happy, very obnoxious smell (chemical).
Saw this posting, and ordered Rough Country....(all black). The only listed model is 3rd gen, BUT, hoorah, they fit my 2nd gen nicely, smell, not as strong, construction looks similar, and cheaper.....$115 vs $145

only downside, ordered just the front and can’t get the rear on a separate order later....you could do that with Cover King......

Cover King will ask you, if your passenger seat reclines flat, and will bring more material in the seat for that purpose, but the Rough Country brings just enough so you can do that.

now will see how it wears....

I went with Katzkin leather all around. Looks OEM and has worn well (5+ years)

Today I removed the chrome nerfs that came with my (new to me) 2013 limited. I think I like it better without them, but might replace with smaller black nerfs later. I do like how they hide the frame, but the chrome nerfs were stealing the show from those shiny OEM 18" wheels.

Spend a bit of timing with the clay bar and crusing the internet for toppers. I've never owned a vehicle that wasn't a beater hatchback until now. God I love this thing. I'd like to keep it stock other than a bit bigger tires, a topper and bed lights.

I replace mine every 100k for piece of mind and keep the old one as a spare.

I replaced mine with a Bando brand belt which was $18.50, less than half the price of OEM. If I remember correctly when I pulled the original belt the OEM toyota belt is just a rebranded Bando covered in toyota and Bando markings.

If the pulleys aren't making noise I wouldn't worry about it. I'm at 145k with the original pulleys.

I just followed the detailing instructions I found here. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/official-ask-a-detailer-thread.8957/ I used a Mother's California Gold kit. You basically wet the surface with a quick polish, and run the clay back and forth on the surface until it is smooth. Then polish with a micro fiber. I did my windows as well. It works surprisingly well to clean them up.

got the ARB on after work. I'm missing the screws & clamps that hold the fog light surrounds in, also need to order the light kit & H11 plug leads so I can use my factory fog light switch. I'm very happy with it. It might've dropped the front end a 1/4", but I think I'm going to bump my 5100's up to the highest setting (I'm on stock coils).
