Home with the trailer. Great service from the dealer - I was back on the road within 30 minutes of arriving and they threw in the spare tire/wheel for free. Nice.

Alan, you should have had one of those crazy deck apes ask if you had any raw oysters, and that they needed them for a contest that they were having where you tie a string around the oyster, swallow it,! and then pull it back up and see who gets sick first. Always good for a few :puke::puke::puke: ! :D
Same when we transported the bubblehead crews, we would angle into waves if it was rough and have the boat rocking and rolling, they weren't used to that and usually resulted in 1 or 2 :puke:, hey, have to have fun somehow!!! :D

HUH, you mean like Ken has been given a time out????
I must have missed something, but having been on here from very early on I wouldn't think that Ken would be one to be given a slap on the wrist, GEEZ!

That was the only time I ever upchucked at sea until I got out and went fishing on a small boat. I was a Seabee, so my only shipboard was on troop transports. That Breckenridge was a bugger, though. I believe to this day that it had no ballast. It would roll, pause, then roll some more. Never use the forward head, and always hook your hand in the bunk at nite.

Did Ken write something on a different thread? I didn't see anything that would constitute a time-out?

Perhaps he said something politically specific in response to what I said regarding my email & phone spam issues and our elected officials. I didn't see that, just speculating.

I’m shocked Ken got a 30 day time out. He’s a mellow and good guy. I’m surprised that mods don’t give warnings and just delete the offensive post. If someone is egregious in violating the rules or does it multiple times then bring down the ban hammer. It amazes me that you can use any 4 letter swear word you want and that’s fine but just a hint of political and it’s ban time. Oh well I don’t write the rules, I just try to follow them the best I can. Gonna miss Ken for the next couple of weeks. Let’s keep his place on the porch ready for his return and the ice chest full.

This! Uncle Sam has regs in place on the credit cards that limit the cardholder's liability to $500 in the event of fraud. No such thing exists for debit cards. If the debit card is linked to a bank account, fraudsters can drain the entire account. Get a credit card with a low credit limit and use it for online stuff. Pay it off in full at the end of every billing cycle. It's a good thing.

I didn't see what was said or where so no dog in that hunt. TW has a clear on code of conduct, and they enforce the rules strongly but fairly. Might seem harsh but it keeps us all from going nuts yelling at each other! ;)

    Exactly!

There is another site I'm on that has some, well, I don't know what you call them, people on there that are so thin skinned it's unreal! It's a walleye forum and you have to be afraid to post something like: what color June Bug spinner is your favorite, red and white or blue and white, because someone will take it as political or turn it political, and yes, they did make both of them along with gold and silver ones.

    Son, you're hired!

When I worked in Germany the Engineers took a rotation on making coffee for the break. The break was from 9:00 t0 9:15 Sharp! They kept on a tight schedule, so I learned that to grind, fill, drip took 6 minutes 57 seconds. So always head everything ready to go at 8:53. The only problem was I did it too well, they wanted me to keep doing just that. Nein!

I'm still used to German Coffee. If you can see through it, not good. Pitch black. Hence my morning espresso. About six of those guys and I'm ready to roll.

It was in Stitch and my thread. He mentioned gas prices + blank. In hindsight I should have caught it and had him delete it. :( :frusty:
Exactly, part of the reason for my latest hiatus. And why I'm kicking myself for not catching it and asking him to delete it. :frusty:
