It's turning out to be a nice day in my neck of the woods. Initially the rain from yesterday was supposed to carry over to today, but it stopped around 4 a.m. today. It's sunny and near 50, on its way to the mid to high 50s. Not bad. I got my daughter to work - she is supposed to buy a car off my brother in law next week - Halleluiah, walked the dog, ran to the bank, got a load of laundry in and the dishwasher running - all before 10:30 a.m. My mother is finally getting the first of her two vaccine shots today, as is my wife. My mother is unsure of which one she is getting, but knows she needs a booster shot, so she must be getting Moderna or Pfizer. My wife is getting the J&J later today. Let's hope things are going to return to close to normal sometime soon.

    Afternoon :hattip:

Just got back from the VA few minutes ago , got my Moderna Vaccination . Go back there on April 9th for my second vaccination . While waiting the 10 minutes after the vaccination a few Veterans including myself were sharing stories of getting vaccinated by air guns . This was funny as it was scaring the nurses

Glad to hear Chuck. I remember when I was in elementary school that they used air guns for the polio vaccine or measles can’t remember which though...getting old I guess.

I remember standing in line during basic for shots, like an assembly line. Henry Ford would have been proud.

Same here and also getting vaccinated before going overseas to Okinawa . I remember at the base clinic walking down a hallway and at ea doorway being hit by a air gun multiple times in ea arm and blood everywhere . Such fond memories
