Installed my AL Offroad Trailgate today - the OEM one was hard on old knees!

I would like to thank all of you kind people wishing me a Happy Birthday. I was 74 on the 11th. I had been waiting 5 weeks for the dealer to get my new fiberglass tonneau in. They called me at about 11 in the morning and said I could come there at 2 and get it installed. HOORAH!!!!! My new top in and on the truck, and a perfect end to my 74th, and then the kind wishes from the Tacoma World memberts. The tonneau was great, but your Birthday wishes are 100% better!!!!!

New to this train and started with the most serious of modifications... Also waiting on Husky liners and some Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires to replace the balding Geolander H/Ts the previous owner equipped.

that semi is army green too

 

some more chrome delete today. sawed through the chrome emblem adhesive with fishing line and installed the black oem "tacoma" both sides and the "v6" on the tailgate. got a blister on the end of one of my fingers from rolling the old adhesive off

 

washed and applied turtle wax ice seal n shine. that stuff is magic.

 

Looks good.

 

Installed a used Thule rack and did the wheel vinyls today

 

I thought about the wheel vinyls before buying my current wheels but honestly it looked like a bunch of work.

 

I haven't received mine yet - supposed to be delivered on Monday but with the mail system......?

 

Belmont makes nice trailers. I need to add a utility trailer to my “must have” list.

 

I struggled to find one - their production is down and it seemed like they were selling as quickly as they arrived. Come to think of it, I checked with the dealer where I got mine on Wednesday afternoon and he told me he had a 6X12" on order and hoped it would arrive soon. The next afternoon he wrote me back saying it had arrived. I immediately told him I'd take it - that was yesterday and I picked it up this morning. He had one other on the lot and it was sold, too,
