    If you are not treating the underside of your truck with corrosion preventative... and are in an area that uses salt... it will be rusty.... very rusty.

    Lol I buy 50's and 60's cars from SoCal and Arizona.... with no rust....

    That bracket is just zinc plated galvanized mild steel, you might notice it looks a little "chalky" (zinc oxide is white) but unless you are right by the ocean or on the beach I'd be surprised if there was corrosion....

    But TBH Toyota does not water and salt spray test near as good as most of the other manufacturers....

    I do live about 1000' from the Ocean. And I most definitely wash the vehicles every week to combat the salt spray. Its mostly cliffs and rocks, not much beach, which only increases the salt content in the air. But I'm not too worried about it.

    I was using POR15 on my POS's when the word TACOMA meant, my wife asking her MA for TACO's. I still even have some of the clear por15.
