Since it's near 60 and wind is expected to kick up, got that front radiator cross/crash bar touched up (wasn't too bad anyway). Paint's wet so it looks glossy, but it's a satin finish. Going to let that dry for 24 hours and other parts will have 48 hour dry time before I reassemble things tomorrow. Touched up my logo too.

Paid the truck off yesterday, new set of tow mirrors arrived undamaged this time, new air filter installed, stainless mesh arrived to cover the damned holes to keep the mice at bay, cat skid plate arriving tomorrow. I get to tinker this weekend!

 

Woot! I have to ask though, what's a cat skid plate? Planning on running over felines?

 

I try not to. Squirrels are fair game though, im not swerving for those fuffy-tailed rats.
Catalytic theft plate. We dont have a lot of thieving tweakers where I live here but planning a trip to Florida and theres no shortage down there it seems. Pilot buddy just had his cut off his 2017 Tundra when he went into the grocery store down there for literally five minutes, another I was stationed with in Dallas has his hacked as well in his driveway.

It’ll be a deterrent if nothing else. The Tundras and Prius are getting hit hardest apparenty.

 

Yeah priuses for sure. If any tweaker is skinny enough to get under my rig they'll be sorely disappointed with the lack of cats...
