Hey folks, just wanted to take a moment to chime in again with a small update after about 800 more miles. Aside from the fantastic improvement in drivability, I am thoroughly impressed by the increase in efficiency /fuel economy of this tune. In all fairness I have become a relatively conservative driver since having kids (at least on road) so your results may vary.

Prior to the tune, I was always averaging 15-15.5 highway mileage (when not towing) and between 13-14 when driving streets or mixed. Since the tune I've been busy with work and it's been almost all highway (including mountain roads however) and I have been creeping in the mid 16 to low 17's range. This is amazing. I honestly can't remember the last time the cluster read that high.

Thanks again for the tune, and for anyone who's on the fence about it, just do it! It's a smaller investment than what most of us probably spend on coffee or beer in a month. You will not regret it.

 

I have nothing but a big grin on my face. New MY2021 TRD OR Owner here with 33s. The truck was searching for gears and I'd really have to mash it to get up to speed on the freeway.

Met Dave, and went with the 91oct KD Performance tune and its night and day. Throttle response alone is worth it, and off of that, your driving habits change. Best mod to my Tacoma to date. If you factor in the pricing, its probably one of the best bang for buck mods I've made on any of my cars.

Will report back periodically! But I'm very happy.

Dave is in OC/Mission Viejo Area. I'd say that's pretty close. I drove down there from Eastvale/Corona area. Really not that far for quality results.

Another Happy K&D tuned Tacoma owner! Patrick @WhiteMambaV2 Came by today had his ECU updated and our K&D performance tune flashed.
