That's a horrible idea. What time?
I'm actually getting rid of the chrome where I can. Not that I hate it, just that there isn't a lot on my truck. I just thought it would be a different kind of contrast. Not sold on it yet.

I seem to be in the general minority that I enjoy the little chrome touches. I added the chrome tipped exhaust to mine and I like the little spots here in there inside and out. I didn't even notice until I saw all the chrome delete kits. But I also have the black grille (looks like you do too) and think the chicken wire chrome grille is where it gets to be way too much. So I like the chrome grille rim and the chrome bumper. So the clear coat rockers seem like they'd tie it all together and have a cool rustic/industrial look with the weld spots. But I haven't seen any pictures of people with them yet.

Found this in another thread. Granted, its not our color, but I think this gets the general idea across for chrome lovers. Also, I know that is a regular tube step and not sliders, but its the closest I could find since everyone seems to powdercoat their rock sliders.

Mine came with the chrome exhaust and chrome badging, which I removed for the blacked out version. It didn't look right after putting the black lettering on the tailgate. And it came with the center part of the vinyl on the hood. (I added the stripes.) The cheese grater grille bugs me. Chrome grille sprayed (rather poorly) black with a chrome trim ring. ??? And the black is peeling off. I'm going to take that to a SR SR5 grill with the black ring. That will black out the front except the headlights. I can live with that. The interior didn't bug too much, but now I'm really starting to notice the trim rings. We'll see what happens there, not a high priority, but the dash bezel will be off for the Taco Garage phone mount soon.

You fixed it for me. I'll be painting. I have too much other stuff blacked out to do that.

I think I still have my flaps around. If you want them (and if I can find them) you can have them for shipping cost.

I like it. I'm thinking about painting the center bar Inferno, tinting the logo, and leaving the rest blacked out.

The grille has been the hardest decision yet for me. I know I don't want to keep my stock one, but I'm not sure what direction to go. I kind of like the Sport grille. I of course like the looks of the Pro Grille, but I don't want to be like everyone else. Lol

i see soooo many Pro grills...
but I feel ya on ‘look like everyone else...’

I was looking for wheels (not Pro) and husband surprised me for my birthday with wheels. Pro wheels. How could I say no? He’s not into trucks like I am but he thought I would like them. Soooo I kinda look like everyone else...

I'm super picky about the TSS being visible in the grill too. It's kind of tacky to have a nice grill and then essentially a 4x6" square piece of plastic just hanging out.

I absolutely love the look of the Pro wheels, they were/are on the top of my list. Then as I discovered how hard they are to get ahold of (used) I saw how popular they really are and started looking for other options. Lol

I love the pro wheels too, but I see them on too many trucks. Ive really been thinking of getting some black rhino military styled wheels. These are the ones I have narrowed it down to.

I saw black rhinos on an F-150 for the first time a couple weeks ago, they are really cool wheels. My husband wants some for his F-150, it's a fight for who's going to get wheels first, haha.
