I guess I'll find out eventually. Pretty sure just the relocation will work fine since the 4th gen 4Runner front suspension is identical to the 2nd/3rd gen Tacoma.

I'll have to look at the slide brace closer and see if the oil filter might pose an issue with my V8 truck having it hang down at the front of the motor.

Word on the street is the arms are 1” narrower on center. If that’s the case all that would be needed is a narrowed crossbar. If someone is willing to put in the effort to figure it out I will sell them a kit at our cost and will make a custom crossbar

If I had a second vehicle right now, I'd totally be down for that. But, that's why I was saying I probably can't swing it until next year. I need to find a second vehicle and put funds together for both this and that.

Plus, I'm working on gathering parts for a 4x swap on my daughter's 2013 Prerunner Tacoma. Which will likely end up getting the JD Fab kit as well....

I know the lca for a gx won’t fit into a Tacoma without some stupid ass persuasion. And the Tacoma’s lca doesn’t like the gx very much either. The gx is def narrower.

If I get the pivot lower kit for the gx470 will my lower control arms fit or would I have to use Tacoma lower control arms?

Took a closer look and I don't think the filter location on the V8 will be a problem. Might be tight, but I think it will work. I'm guessing it sits further forward than the 3rd gen Tacoma V6 but I haven't seen one of those in person.

Is there a separate thread somewhere with info on the slide brace or is it just burried in the thread here? I've seen it a few times here but would like to learn more about it.
