FYI, I only found out after completing the delivery that she didn’t leave me a tip, but she was so friendly that I didn’t nuke her ratings...

 

Wow!

 

Tonight was a good night, at least until I got to Chipotle; I turned down a $3 order from the Wendy's in Warrington, and like five minutes later got an order from Buffalo Wild Wings (also in Warrington) for like $8.25 or so. By the time I dropped off the pizza, the tip was $13! The base pay was $3.25, which means that the tip started out at five bucks and they added to it...

Hey, I ain't complaining!

 

So I took an order at the Doylestown Chipotle for $6, and while I was just around the corner I got another $6 order, which I readily accepted...

This Chipotle is always packed, but I wasn’t prepared for tonight’s shitshow; The parking lot was full so I had to park illegally...



I found out that this Chipotle was not only swamped, but fifty minutes behind!

There were a number of other Dashers there, including a woman in her 30s who waited half an hour for one order! This 18-year old kid showed up after I’d been there for about fifteen minutes and the lot of us chatted for a bit. I got there at about 7pm and we both cancelled our respective orders at 7:30.

A short time later, I ended up with two orders from two different restaurants within walking distance of each other, with a payout of $18 total!

 

Sounds like you are cashing in on some good tips!

 

I’ve determined that it’s best to avoid Warrington and Warminster before noon, because that’s when all the stupid Walmart orders come in. I refuse to pick up at Walmart anymore!

 

Yeah l would make it as easy as you can on yourself.

 

Had to put it in park and set the parking brake while waiting in line at this pizza place in Doylestown because the hill was so steep, only to find out when it was my turn that there was a back entrance and I could have avoided the line...

 

But the woman the pizzas went to sure knew how to tip!

I picked up the others; Note that only the Walfart ones are circled...

 

Just had the restroom emergency from hell...

Was dashing in the Jenkintown because the area around my house wasn’t busy; Immediately got summoned to an independent bagel shop in the Glenside area, and got admonished by an employee for stepping “over the line”...



I am generally not expecting warning signs to consist of masking tape on the floor, so cut me a break! The employee said thirty seconds tops and a couple of minutes passed, so I cancelled the order and left, heading for the nearest Wawa...

Wawa are always a safe bet, at least the ones that have gas stations; Most of the non-gas station ones do not have public restrooms (even before COVID) and one such Wawa in Easton had public restrooms that were closed due to COVID (only Wawa I’ve seen that has it’s formerly public restrooms closed to the public). The third Wawa I went to was yet another smaller over, but there was a Volvo dealer across the street; Car dealers have historically been perfectly fine with people using their restrooms. This particular dealer was Volvo Cars of Fort Washington; A fat salesman outside with a customer refused to let me inside. I exchanged words with this guy before storming off and leaving two souvenirs on the asphalt on my way out.

NEVER, EVER gonna Dash outside of the Doylestown and Fort Washington/Horsham zones again; Why not? Because I’ve lived in the area over 15 years and have a good idea of where everything is (including businesses with public restrooms)!
