Pre-2020s know that also, but it is a wired connection to TechStream for it to be viewed.

2020+ periodically transmit the data unless folks go through the convoluted OptOut process.

Hey guys looking for help here, I am having two issues since the new entune update.

First, my 4 favorite contacts on the home screen keep disappearing and the truck forgets them and I constantly have to keep putting them back as favorites. I know other people have had this same issue but has anyone found a fix yet? Just an annoying bug.

Second, when playing music through Bluetooth and Spotify, whenever I skip a song, the track information does not change on the screen. It will display the old song's information until I close out Bluetooth or reset spotify. Anyone else have this issue lately?

I have a Oneplus 7 Pro, stock head unit. Thanks guys!

Try resetting the headunit back to factory settings. Don't worry, it won't remove your update.

If that fixes the contacts on the screen but not the track info, try opening the music app on your phone, then turn your screen off, leaving the app pulled up, and see if that does the trick for track info.

May be someone here can help me out here:

I've put these files on 3 different flash drives. All were formatted to FAT32. The truck recognizes the drives, but when I go to run the updates, the option to run the updates is greyed out. I've even gone so far to remove the map SD card on all 3. Still no luck.

My radio is Etunes non-JBL radio.

Are you putting all the files on the flash drive? I ran into the same issue until I realized I was using the wrong file for the update, and if you put them all on the drive the head unit will just grab the one it needs.

Are you putting the file(s) in the root directory of the flash drive? If the files are in a folder, it won't work.

Basically, if your files are in "F:\Update Files\updatefilename" (F: is just an example name) it won't detect. You need the files to be in the "F:\" directory only.

Just in case, you can use this info to find what single file that you need:

I'll try this. I honestly thought you dropped the files on the flash drive and the truck would automatically pick the right files.

It does, but it expects them to be in the top directory only.

Thanks to @danwray, @ktbell444, and @tonered for helping find the "root" cause of my issue. After pulling all the .kwi files (US and Canada) out, the truck was able to read the files and updated. Again, my thanks!

You got A5? I see that I and a few others got A4. Is there a change to the update file in post #1?

Both are the same update, per the T-SB.

Not sure why there are two separate versions for Entune Premium Audio, and the others.

And no, I have not updated the first post.

I should do those fo my wife’s 2016 RAV4. I didn’t read every page, but what added features does this update add?

Not really a feature update, those are OTA. These updates are to fix issues some owners are experiencing.

    Hey, @ktbell444 .

A new rev of TSB-0003-20 was posted. It looks like there are some new versions for some Tacos.

I know your subscription is not active. Maybe folks having issues could crowdfund 2day access?
