It won't be that bad I promise

Toyota even recalled that statement didn't they?
I'm already budgeting for a replacement transmission. Or at least a rebuild kit.

lol, I just don't throw things away of value.

90% of that stuff on the trailer will be for sale, but none of that is going to happen for awhile until I sort through the rest of house/property.

There is a ton of stuff/trash I have to go through, once that is all done, I will bring a trailer load home back to SA with the furniture and tools etc for a garage sale.

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Haven't shaken this hospital cold yet - wasn't enough sunshine! Worked OK during the day, but it crept back in the night. Was planning on some lawn work today before making Birthday Burgers, but it's JUST wet enough to probably make that not realistic. I'd empty the greenhouse, but I wanted to do the same stuff in the back before I get everything in the way. OK, it'll wait.
Wifey's birthday, and yes, she requested the burgers!

Yeah that seems crazy to me if you want something to last. A little maintenance goes a long way

Y'know, the quotes from my 2007 manual were the last thing I posted before I fell asleep. I WAS going to finish that thought with that there IS a lot of back and forth, and the "severe" duty distances of 60K & 100K. And, I think a lot of people speak of it WITHOUT recognizing they may be talking about manuals!
That said, before my favorite Service Advisor in San Marcos retired, a power flush and fill was in our sights for the Taco. Because, face it, at 200+K miles, and 14 years old (11 of which with who know who), it would be a good investment. They had a tool similar to what they use for coolant, which literally sucks everything out, and it's a little over $400 to get it done. I'd only need to do it this once.
But, I have no faith in SM Toyota anymore, so I won't take it back there. I may talk to this guy that did the RAV4 at Autonation South Austin Toyota. If I have faith that it can be done without damage or excuses, I will probably do it.
Does my transmission give me any complaints? Not a one. If your vehicle is older, I would follow the manual until well over 100K, unless you find a problem.
There, my 2 cents while I'm awake.
