Entune application download error

I have a 2020 Tacoma TRD off road. Got an update notification on Entune, hit download and after a few minutes I received a “ application download error” message, “retry”. I’ve hit retry a dozen time and still get download error messages. Any one know how to get rid of this aside from going to a dealer ??? Very frustrating !!!

 

I’ve got the same thing. Went for my 10k service today and was told I’d have to make another appointment for that. There has to be some way to get rid of it.

I’m going to try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.

 

Happens regularly to me. Eventually it downloads on its own.

 

Is this for the Entune system? I don’t even use it.

 

Found a fix. It will delete some info but worked on mine.

menu>setup then scroll down some and select Delete Personal Data.

 

Had to reconnect my phone via Bluetooth and redo my radio presets

I don’t use any apps or WiFi so you may have to reset that stuff also.

Thanks for the info ideas. Tried to disconnect the battery- didn’t work. I ended up deleting my personal information BINGO! Problem solved. Had to reprogram everything but small price to pay to get rid of the annoying message. Decided entune isn’t worth the aggravation and blocked it. Thanks Revelation !
