That's my plan in the next few months, to replace the treated lumber deck with composite. My step son has offered to do the skill part while my wife and I assist him. It is an expensive proposition. Our deck is 20x20.

    Good Morning :hattip:

Currently 48° clear , High 67° and light breeze

What's up with all these reported side effects from the Vaccine . I was told to expect arm pain as one of the side effects yet I never experienced any discomfort at all

I hope my frame is good. It appears so. I will have to eventually rebuild the railings, but it is going to have to be piecemeal because we have a railing around the entire deck, except where there are gates, since ours is built over a hillside and is basically elevated. I need the rail so nobody falls off, including my dog. LOL.

A deck works best for us, with the little dog. Being anywhere from about 2 - 5 feet off the ground, with a railing, I feel it's safe to let the dog on the deck without being bothered or attacked by another animal - especially since the deck is built into the woods. Although I guess a squirrel could drop off a branch and onto the deck to take her on. LOL.

That's what I want when I move to Tennessee , a nice large deck to relax on
