Drink it. Make an experience out of it. Worth way more that way than $500

That last one made me Lol, literally. I'm still pondering if I want to part with it or, as @Gingerbeard Man said, crack it open and experience it. If I do decide to open it, it will be when I have people over. Hopefully that time will come this summer.

I drank a bottle over the holidays with friends and my family. We made it a tradition to crack or drink one of the harder to find bottles every year over thanksgiving and Xmas. It’s a great time.

I make more money every day but I can’t make up for lost time with friend and family, mine as well enjoy sipping in something good when we are all together.

You can always crack an EHTBP in its place...

edit: can guarantee I’ll open it and enjoy it. And bring a sample by when I do open it

Found this yesterday and had a tasting with a couple friends. I liked it, very good flavor and smoother than I thought it would be. It was my first time ever having anything 1792

Good bottles are meant to be shared with good company. The memories will far outlast the couple extra hundred dollars you can make from selling it. And I get a lot more satisfaction creating the memories than I do by looking at a fancy unopened bottle on a shelf for years.

That stuff is way too easy to drink for being full proof.

I agree, we could’ve easily finished it off last night if the wives didn’t get restless

Struggling a bit with this one - good at first slightly salty tastng... then a somewhat harsh, lingering aftertaste.

Not sure I'd go out of my way to to rebuy - especially at this price point

Pouring a dram of Edradour when I noticed this sticky white stuff in the neck of the bottle. It's on the cork as well (natural cork, not synthetic). The bottle came with a foil cover, no glued on paper or anything. WTF? So far I can't see any floaters (or sinkers) in the bottle, but the scotch is a dark brassy red so it's kinda hard to tell. Guess I'll just have to drink my way to the bottom faster.

I used to like this more before I tried the Laphroaig Quarter Cask, but it’s still very good. I need to get a Laphroaig 10 and Ardbeg 10 to compare them all.
