drop in k&n for now. Deckplated. Got rid of the intestinal airpipe and baffleys. Replaced with shiny big pipe of more straightness.
Anyone else thinking the snow is starting a little late this year?
We had several inches by this time last year or previously.

Wondering if we gonna get murdered this winter by snow or not.

And that was a funny OP.

    Good one Mark :D
I have never had one of those moments ;)

Pt. - yeah the snow has really changed over the last few seasons. More mixed precip, wet heavy snow. Google weather pattern changes in the Northeast, its crazy. They are predicting New England weather to be someday like North Carolina

We've been watching weather models for snowmobiling. The trails are set to open come Dec 15th. We need a good freeze up followed by some snow for sure otherwise its trailering to Gods country once again. More windshield miles than on the trails.

    Thanks Judy.

I pray those predictions don't come true! I was up at my other place in Maine over the weekend and we got about 2 inches Thursday night. But I do remember as a kid, sometimes having no snow until Christmas Eve...and other years trick-or-treating in the snow. Never know what you're gonna get.....but the Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting a cold, snowy winter in the Northeast.

I hope you'll have many pleasant miles on the trails!

Yeah, I'm wondering about this winter... Personally, I think we're in for a tough one this year. Of course I base that on absolutely nothing scientific...

I very un-scientifically predict very little snow this year. I changed the oil in the snowblower and tuned it up, seems to work every time! When I wait until December to even try and start it, we get hammered.

We had three blizzards in VA last winter so anything less than that is ok with me.

Some folks in my family relocated to San Diego and say the same thing. I don't know if I could live there.

I was in Irasburg on Saturday and it snowed all day, maybe about 2 inches, just enough to make our annual thanksgiving tackle soccer game interesting. No snow in Newport after the squall earlier that morning.
My cousin from Sutton Ca said he got 2 feet in 4 hours that morning. there is snow somewhere in the area, just not far enough south.

Oddly enough other then getting The Grrr for the sake that Tacomas are awesome vehicles. I got the truck for work. And the fact that we have both design and IT support clients that need our services in any weather...

Had I realized it came with a "crap weather'' insurance packge..Id have kept the 40mpg+ Sentra and just purchased the weather insurance.

And yep..Farmers Almanac is saying hard winter..so shall see.
I liked our snowy Halloween 2 years ago.

50 degrees, a south wind and it rained overnight. The wind takes snow away faster than the temps!

We are having an absolute monsoon here in DE today. And I can only hope that we get as much snow as we did last winter. I'm pretty sure it was a record for our area...like 80+ inches just on 3 storms...over 90 total.

People in SoCal can't drive if it is foggy or drizzly... Let alone a bit of snow and ice.
You should look at the thread of "floods"... I put pictures up of stupid SoCal people

I just got back from Maine today! Snow was beautiful, and the truck performed beautifully! About a foot where I was. Very nice!

Here's a couple of pics of the "Salty Taco" after the trip!
