Can anyone recommend a good shop in Tucson for a cmc?

 

Wish there was man I tried a local shop at first. And still ended up taking the truck to @state48overland to have the work done.

 

Well damn. I haven’t been able to find a place back home in Louisiana that really knows what I’m talking about it when I ask them about it, I was hoping it would be more common out here in the desert!

 

Man, I know just how you feel. I’m from Louisiana and I’m working in Tucson for a few months. I couldn’t believe it when I learned that you can wheel on public land. It’s totally unheard of back home! I’ve been like a kid in a candy store

 

Hit up @jameson_motorsports on IG. Not sure if he’s taking in little projects like that but he’s in Tucson and does good fab work

Some of us have jobs during the week

 

I was up between 330AM and 430AM every day this week to get my shit done early!

 

Ok ok you earned it haha. Wish I could make it up there to join you. Heck wish I could make it up this weekend at all but that’s looking very unlikely

I am but don’t know how much more abuse my janky knees can take. Killer conditions today.

 

Garage is progressing nicely...

Has anyone done anything like radiant barrier or something of the like to keep their garage temps down in the summer? What worked the best and/or what would you recommend to not die out there during the summer. Not that I insist on doing shit at midday in July temps but I'd like to knock a few degrees off how hot it gets!


Also @Man of Steel TRD how do you store your cleaning stuff, like brushes/mitts/whatever? Right now I just leave everything in my main wash bucket so it all gets wet down even if I might not use it that time.


Every time I go out and do some more work it feels like I discover another thing to deal with though, drives me nuts I swear! Like my tool chest is still rocking.

 

I have bins on shelves that I keep all my chemicals and stuff organized in as well as one for towels and brushes like boars hair brushes and such.

I usually will have one wash mitt in rotation and let it dry on the side of a bucket before I put it and the bucket away.

 

Speaking of garages and never being done. I pressure washed the hell out the floor in mine today. That paint i did on the floor is still holding up, not perfect, but man it helps.
