Misunderstanding with the above posts.

I'd assume I'd need a press to get the UBJ out of ths spindle.

I don't need UCA bushings done at all, I simply have a new set of Icon UCAs sitting in box since '19

 

If only there was some where convenient to get a press

Getting a press is different from having a place to use said press

 

Bruh. You don’t need a press. I just showed Ryan how to do it with a ball peen hammer. Slow and steady strikes on the flat. You’re not trying to murder it.

 

The stock UBJ can't just be hit loose with a BFH?

Experience goes a long way too though. When I saw you using the torque wrench on your suspension pieces, I was like “oh, he’s one of those.” I’m more of an ugga-dugga fella unless I’m working on engine internals. Güdentite is good enough for me. Haha.
I probably would’ve put the truck back together in half the time if only using ugga-duggas.

 

It's one thing to buy it from him

My experience with ugga duggas is very limited lol. I even torque my lug nuts normally

 

We’ve given up trying to convince him.

@GHOST SHIP saw the torque spec sheets I keep laminated in my truck and was like wtf is this

 

I’ve come to trust my ugga-duggas as long as my batteries are fully charged. But that came with experience too. I used to use the impact and follow with a torque wrench until I knew how to “feel” the torque of my impact. If I had to use someone else’s tools, I’d want to double check with a torque wrench.
