I've been running my setup with superbumps and just the coilovers. It's been great. Hydrobumps would be cool, and eventually I'll make that happen, but for now I'm pleased with how it runs. I've only actually felt the front bottom out hard once so far, and even that was comfortable.

I also cycled the suspension with the bumps off and on with out a shock in there. You lose maybe .5" of up travel by running the superbumps.

Bypasses will be a future goal as well. Totally unnecessary unless you are running whoops and jumps a lot, in my opinion. I wish I had that kind of stuff here where I live, but I don't.

0.5” at the bump stop is 1” at the wheel. The kit was designed to allow for more drop out than stock (uniball clocking) so the hydro bump gain isn’t as noticeable as with stock arms

I feel like one advantage of hydros is that you get to set exactly where the travel ends. With rubber bumps, it's a bit of a guessing game. The super bumps are just over half in contact with the arm at full compression, while the other half hangs off the edge, which lets it compress further than it normally would.

Bypasses are great at doing what they're designed to do but they do have their downfalls and are not adequate for every application. At the end of the day it's all application based and not a one size fits all formula. Bypass' main benefit is the zone controlled dampening, as mention, and for this reason they really shine in higher shaft speed driving. You should be able to get everything you want for slower, less spirited, driving out of a single C/O.

The downfall of a bypass is obviously the additional cost, time & effort to get the setup dialed properly, and you loose a lot of your slow shaft speed control (crawling) being they allow for soo much free bleed past the main piston. That's where the art comes in of finding the balance of the valving between bypass and C/O for the application.

I've seen people do this and don't really understand the purpose. Seems redundant. The only reason to run another shock per vehicle corner is for additional dampening ability but I've personally never talked to anyone who's not been able to get what they need, especially when talking slower driving, with just the single C/O and if they do want more they go to a bypass.

It all depends on the amount of force applied. I agree with @WormSquirts in saying it's hard to truly know your full bump with a rubber stop because you can't replicate the true bottom out forces of the truck while on jack stands.
