My slip yolk has far too much play, the spline coating has worn down since the last time I had it rebuilt. I asked for them to put a boot on the slip, and they ignored me. Such is the reason for my current issue.

 

So you could one on for me? I’m going completely stock again and I know it needs to be done

I have a cross bar for a soft topper for a 2nd gen - so if any of you second gen folks want a soft topper and a 3rd genner is selling one, let me know if you want the cross bar. The tailgates are a bit different, that's the only thing, so this cross bar converts it from a 3rd gen fit to a 2nd gen fit. I'm in RI - will probably be bouncing around this summer.
