To y’all vF Tuners I admire and salute your efforts. I neither have the funds or inclination to delve in this endeavor but I find the R&D in this forum interesting. I have an iteration @Mooseditty17 M+W tweaked by @PapaRee beautiful situation but who doesn’t like latest and greatest

Is it normal to have a 5 second delay with the veepeak BLE+ in OBD fusion, on android?

Been messing around in the settings but nothing seems to get rid of the delay. Might be missing something.

I do see delay, but I blame my overloaded monitor. Try to monitor just a few PID and see if you get a same delay

    Hey guys,

I pulled my trailer yesterday on the freeway for a while to move it to a different storage on Kruiser 4.0 that has about 5-600 miles on it now. Saw these numbers. Thoughts on the red transmission temp? Is this good (not too high)?

    note: 4.88’s and 32’s

If you read other threads on, trans temps over 200 are when your truck is nearing complete catastrophic failure

You can run way over 200 and be fine

Per owner's manual you should not be towing in drive or 6th gear. Manual trans do not use 6th either. For automatics, use sport mode S4 mostly. S5 flatter ground. And turn on ECT. Towing in drive and using overdrive gears will definitely cause the transmission to heat excessively. Seen people burn theirs up doing exactly that. Towing in drive can and will cause transmission issues.

Just trying to help. Most don't want to follow what Toyota states as recommendations, nor do people read that book inside their glove box.

That's exactly why my ECT power on all my tunes (gear lock, being exempt) hold fourth until 60+ and eliminate 6th all together.
