I got my cap on today. Overall it seems very stout and of high quality. The wiring was a pain however. The instructions are comically bad about the wiring. There are numerous pictures that literally just show the side of the bed with the harness sitting there. The written instructions just say hook it up. Once I did figure out an acceptable way to run the wires, I realized the wiring at the third brake light was reversed. I tried to re-pin the connector but I couldn't get it apart without ruining it so I ended up cutting the wire closest to the cap light and switching them. I made a video explaining how I ran the wire. Hopefully it's helpful.

Here is how I ran my wire. It required drilling but I didn’t really mind Since the hole is behind the compartment. I went through the top opening of the brake light and zip tied the extra harness behind the light itself so the wire is far away from anything.

me too! Pigtail was sent backwards, you’ll see the wires where they need to be switched back.... also, see attached for routing of pigtail.... no drilling needed....

Dang. Delivery truck came yesterday but needed signature for delivery. I work long days and can’t leave for a 5hr delivery window. Hopefully can be there next week.

you can call the shipping place, their hubs are open pretty late. Drive and pick it up. ORA can give you the freight # to give the freight company and you can schedule a pick up

Just installed on my DCLB. Brake wire was wired backwards. Unpinned it and put it together correctly.now works as should. Repinning is way faster than butt splicing and looks nicer IMO. Also fished wire through gap in bedfloor by tie strap on driver side. Overall it was a bear to put together single handedly, but three can put it on easily. Looks better in person and I think dimensions of LB variant match the bed better than the SB.

Happy with purchase, other than WTF on the wiring RSI?

If this thing lasts as long as my CVT tent from way back when, I’ll be happy hahahaha for those who are on the fence about racks and such, forget it... the RSI bars are low profile enough for me. 4” from bottom of tent floor to top of roof line

I used kneedlenose to pull the white filler out, then a pin to lift the catch - technically backwards of how you're supposed to do, but was quicker. I don't have a de-pinning kit, wish I did (this just reinforces why) and couldn't find anything to hit it from the back.

what did you have to do to get the prinsu rack to bolt on correctly? I’m wanting to mount the prinsu on the RSi pretty soon and I want to be prepared so I can get it done in one day. Thank you for sharing the info!! It really helps

@OffroadAlliance.com, considering mounting traction boards on the outside of the gullwings on the EVOa. What is the weight lifting limit on the shock struts or how much weight can be added to the gullwings and be supported by the struts?

The interior molle panels are rated for 15-20lbs. Wouldn't go beyond that between the interior and exterior weight.

Anyone know what the bolt size is for the ones for the table storage? I was thinking about adding eyebolt and then straps to mount some recovery boards

keep in mind the gullwings are double walled.... if you torque the studs too tight you’ll buckle the panel. I would recommend some kind of flat bar to spread the load
