Link didn't work, but probably not. Every cap I've seen sits on top of the plastic and the clamps don't seem to have any issue reaching around.

the bed lined is blocking the clamp from getting underneath the rails of the bed

I would just cut out the area on the bed liner that you need for the ladder rack. If you removed the entire liner what would you replace it with?

There is no bed liner. The plastic IS the bed.

Dremel or a multi tool should work. You would only need to cut where the clamps are going. Look, measure and mark twice before cutting as usual.

I think you might have to holesaw some holes through the bed liner to get the clamps in. Not sure though.

As noted above, there isn’t a bedliner in the 2nd gen trucks. The plastic is the actual bed and the quarter panels bolt on. I suppose you could try clamping to the quarter panels but it’s not the same as a metal bed truck.

Thanks, doesn’t really show me much about the mounting points. The rack currently on my truck, mounts into the bed floor up front, and on the side in the back. Just needed to drill a couple holes like I was mounting bed side reinforcers.

From the web site, it looks to be very universal, and they say no drill even.
