    if it turns out there's lots of interest here, i think the way to move forward is to figure out the smallest size axle that would be needed, thread the body of the hauler to that, and use spacers to go bigger. it's also possible that we just offer different sized chain links that all match the rear t nut layout, so with just 2 8mm bolts you could go from one bike to the other.

    inserts are a possibility, but actually more work overall. they can be slightly harder to install/remove, easier to lose, etc.

    I appreciate it. I'm going super low tech for a first pass with a PayPal cart I think. Should do what I need unless I need like 40 different configurations for axles
