My total with taxes was about $134. That’s for the Garmin mini, dongar adapter, and a short micro usb cable. You will also need to purchase a micro SD memory card.

I ordered all the items separate through Amazon and not as a kit. Also Amazon has a better price for the dash cam than through Garmin’s website.

Trim Shine indicates that you just spray it on, but I'm assuming that there has to be some kind of scrubbing involved on the engine. Do you scrub it first and then wipe down with one of the products you mentioned? Also, are there any parts in the engine that I need to make sure not to get this on?

On a related note, I've got a friend who runs a little shop where he repairs people's jet skis and 4 wheelers. He was helping me work on my 97 Civic and wanted to clean the engine. He dumped some kind of purple something all over the engine while it was running, let it sit for a while and then took a pressure washer to it. Didn't cover anything up. Amazingly, nothing seemed to be harmed by that. I've heard you shouldn't use a pressure washer on the engine without first protecting sensitive electronics.

Yeah I’m in the maintenance-only stage. Don’t let it get too dirty and I just spray and wipe with those products.

If it’s your first time cleaning, here are the steps I use:
    1. Rinse with water. Use a pressure washer if you have one but a garden hose works fine too. I don’t see the need in covering anything.
    2. Spray a generous amount of all purpose cleaner or degreaser.
    3. Get a soft brush to agitate the dirt.
    4. Rinse.
    5. Spay/wipe with plastics shiner every 3-4 months

Seems easy enough. My Taco has less than 2500 miles on it so my engine's pretty clean. Got it in December, so I guess if I start now, I won't ever have too much work to do on it.

Replacing my rear bumper "cheeks". I'm going to need to buy new clips as the current ones are brittle. Any Reccomendations as to where to buy the appropriate size clips?

Can you guys let me know if you get any electrical problems with the Dongar. I have these in my Amazon cart, but heard that it may give you random errors.

Installed Mountain Hatch tailgate cover because I was tired of spilling things I set on the tailgate and sitting on it was not comfortable. Maybe not the cheapest option out there but I like it. It is (literally) slick though. Install difficulty: .1 on a scale of 1-10.

Installed my clazzio seat covers today. I expected it to be difficult but it was a breeze. Watching some of the YouTube install videos really helped. I left the front headrests uncovered as mine is the pro model and has the logo stitching. I’m very impressed with the quality and fit of these coverings. After a couple of weeks of use I will re-tighten everything. Very pleased with the product.
