Alright gents, how does some weekend in october or early november look for doing a meet/mod/wheel/eat? I am game for whenever, just give me a week or two notice. I pulled the trigger on my winch and may here shortly pull it again on a Rocktek bumper or dual batt. setup.

I bet that a lot of us up here in NE would be interested in coming down to Tuttle Creek some time next year if we want to try to put something together? We have pretty much nothing to do up here in terms of serious offroading and it gets VERY boring Lol. I think if we plan it far enough in advanced than it might be able to work out. Let me know what you guys think.

    Thanks

I would be down for some tuttle creek action as well! Also i was going to see if anyone would be interested in going to Moab in July around the 23rd this will be my third time there and my first time there with my taco! As of right now its just me and another guy that has a jeep, so I just thought I would throw that out there, everyone and anyone is invited! Once you get the Moab bug you never get rid of it!!

No, this is just a very slow thread. :D

Moab would be fun, we'll have to see what's going on closer to July.

Ya Moab would be fun, but that is a far drive! Has any one ever been down to Waynoka, OK (Little Sahara)? I usually go down once or twice a year to ride, never had my truck in the samd down there though. I think it would be fun, that may be a closer option too? Anyways thought I would throw that idea out there.

Waynoka is always a good time! Been on the dunes in a jeep and 4-wheelers but i think a sandy taco meet would be good too. If anyone does get a chance to go to moab its well worth the drive, its about 14-15 hours but worth it!

The White Rim Trail would be a blast in a Taco. Canyonlands park near Moab. 90 miles of gorgeous red rock with a little tech to it. I've only done it on mtb.

I looked at that as a possibility, but i know for sure we are going to take the potash road from moab to shafer trail up the switch backs to the island in the sky!

Any new christmas present Mod's any one has done lately on their trucks?

I just put some Light Racing UCA's on, along with a URD True Cold Air Intake.
If you guys haven't heard the URD TCAI, check it out on you tube. This thing sounds bad at from about 4000 to 5500 RPM. It almost sounds like my cousins Ferrari.

I felt more power increase with this intake than I did the exhaust by far.

Some time coming up, or in early spring I'm going to be taking a trip down to Waynoka. Anyone is welcome to come test their truck out in the sand. My buddy that has the White Long Travel with a supercharger that is in my picture's is going to come too. I'll keep you guys in touch on an upcoming date when we may go down.

Got some Eibach 1.6 springs for Xmas, just got the Billy's to go with them tonight
    :)

Increased, bad@ss engine sounds from 4 to 5500 RPM you say? Oh I may have to add that to the list of things I need.
I keep meaning to head down to Waynoka to check out the dunes and their annual Rattlesnake hunt. Keep us informed!

Rattlesnake hunt week-end is always the week-end after easter typically in April. I should be down there for sure that week-end, to ride and take the truck out. Its usually pretty busy that week-end and the sand gets pretty rough, that's why I'd like to take a trip sooner on an off week-end with less quad's and buggies tearing up the sand. Here is a video from Sand Fest last Sept. Snake hunt is a bigger week-end then Sand Fest too. I don't know how to embed a video, but here is a link.

    I'll keep ya posted.

Troy, sounds like a good set up you got going on. Are you going to put the 5100's at .85 to get the 2.5" lift, or just do the 1.6 for now with the springs? Also do some searching on here about the URD TCAI, I'm pretty sure it is one of the best cold air intakes on the market. Here is a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=044qIa0N0bQ&feature=player_detailpage

    thanks for the vids!

Just going to keep the billy's set at 0 for now. Just got tired of looking at it sitting nose down and wanted it close or closer to level. Someday I would like to put a mid-travel kit on it but for now, this should be good.
